Biography of Mr. Andre Anziani
Mr. Anziani was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he attained a B.A. in Rhetoric and Writing with a minor in Mathematics. He is a proud Texas Longhorn, and an avid college football fan. He often travels for UT’s away football games.
After graduating from UT, Mr. Anziani received a scholarship to St. Mary’s Law School. During law school, he served as a student attorney in the tax clinic, where he represented tax clinic clients before the IRS, Tax Court, and the United States Court of Federal Claims. Mr. Anziani also volunteered with Volunteer Income Tax Assistance, where he was able to help low income clients with their tax issues, work he found very fulfilling. Mr. Anziani also worked for Ecke and Poling throughout law school, a small law firm that practiced in several areas of law. Here he discovered his passion for working in a small business environment and seeking justice for clients who had been wronged.
Following law school, Mr. Anziani attended the University of Houston, where he received an LLM in Taxation. Mr. Anziani returned to Ecke and Poling, where he again worked in various areas of law, including personal injury. Soon after beginning his career at Ecke and Poling, Mr. Anziani was recruited to KPMG’s Business Tax Services practice. Mr. Anziani took the opportunity to experience life in a new city and moved to Dallas, where he began to build roots. Mr. Anziani worked in corporate tax for 3.5 years, serving Fortune 500 companies on complex tax issues.
Mr. Anziani began to miss the appeal of working in a small business setting, and wanted to return to the courthouse, and working in the trenches for the people. Mr. Anziani joined Trujillo & Sanchez in July of 2019, and has hit the ground running. Mr. Anziani is happy to return to the courthouse, and finds joy in representing the people against large insurance companies. He truly prides himself on being a lawyer for the people.Of note, Mr. Anziani also spends his free time at home with his wife and dog, and enjoys helping his wife at her bakery, Crumb and Kettle, located in the heart of Oak Cliff.
